Summary

I am a detail-oriented professional with a passion for words. I love finding and communicating whatever the narrative is within a project–be it a personal story, brand, or product. In addition to my formal education and awards in creative writing, I have many years of experience editing and writing for a variety of academic and industry settings and businesses including technical, STEM, and social science environments. I also have experience with blogging, social media content, SEO, and interview-based article writing.

Awards, Publications, & Professional Affiliations

Gertrude Stein Award in Fiction (2018), The Hillerman-McGarrity Creative Writing Endowment (2018), The Dear Lucky Agent Award (2016). I was a finalist for the Charles Johnson Fiction Award (2017).

I’m a member of Psi Chi, AWP, Pen Parentis. I was an AWP Writer-to-Writer Mentee (Spring 2019).

My work has appeared in Medical Muse, Centum Press Anthology, The Dr. T.J. Eckleburg Review, and is forthcoming in Gargoyle Magazine. I write non-fiction agent and business profiles for ABQ Real Producers Magazine.
